Purchasing tips for purchasing painted glass
Painted glass is a highly expressive decorative glass variety, which can be reflected by spraying, rolling, screen printing or paint coating. Painted glass is also called back painted glass in the industry, which is divided into flat painted glass and frosted painted glass.
Painted glass is spray painted on the back of the glass and baked in an oven at 30-45 degrees for 8-12 hours. In many places where painted glass is made, it is generally dried naturally, but the adhesion of the paint surface that is naturally dried is relatively small and is easy to fall off in a humid environment. As we all know, paint has certain harm to the human body. In order to ensure modern environmental protection requirements and human health and safety needs in painted glass, we should pay attention to using environmentally friendly raw materials and paints when making painted glass.
The front of the good painted glass looks bright, pure and even, with good brightness and no obvious color spots; the back of the painted glass is very smooth, with no or few protrusions of particles, and there are no traces of "sweeping" on the paint surface.
Also note that the thickness of painted glass is different according to different uses. The preferred thickness for kitchen and bathroom walls is 5 mm. If you make a light spacing or dining tabletop, it is recommended to purchase 8-10 mm thick painted glass.
Cleaning and maintenance of painted glass
The process level of painted glass has high requirements and high scrap rate, so the price remains high; at the same time, it must be carefully cared for during use, for fear of bumps and scratches. Once damaged, it will be difficult to repair and often needs to be replaced as a whole, and color difference is prone to occur in kitchens with more oil smoke. So how to maintain painted glass?
1. During use, painted glass should try to avoid impacting the door panel. The hardness of the paint film of the high-quality painted glass plate is about 2H, that is, 10 kilograms of heavy objects hit the surface of the door panel, and the door panel may have pits, and the door panel paint film will not fall off large areas;
2. During use, painted glass should avoid using an overwet rag to wipe the surface of the door panel, because especially in an overly humid environment, the integrity of the paint film may be damaged and the paint film will crack;
3. The paint film of the painted glass plate will discolor due to high temperatures and has poor fire resistance. Therefore, it should be avoided to direct sunlight during use. During use, it is difficult to avoid oil smoke in the kitchen. When there are oil smoke and oil stains on the entire cabinet door panel, you can wipe it with a clean cotton cloth with detergent: water = 1:10.
