Do dog injuries need to be resolved?
During the entire process of feeding dogs, when the dog is injured in a fight, the pet owner must immediately solve the problem, otherwise it may cause wound infection and inflammation, causing some unnecessary inconvenience to the dog. Regarding this matter, based on my experience in raising pets, let’s share some work experience and methods for solving dog wounds:
1. Clean and disinfect wounds
After discovering that the dog is injured, the pet owner must first check the condition of the wound. If it is serious, he should immediately take a doctor to provide rescue. If the injury is mild, the following countermeasures can be adopted again.
For this matter, it is recommended that pet owners first comfort the dog's mentality, and then cut and shave the hair around the wound moderately to prevent the hair from sticking to the wound, which is also convenient for post-production. Next, use salt water to clean the dirt and secretions in the wound. Later, use a cotton ball to dip it in red potion or hydrogen peroxide to carry out simple disinfection of the wound to prevent bacterial infection of the wound.
2. Apply pet integration
After the pet owner removes and disinfects the dog's wound, he can sprinkle some pet integration appropriately until it is dry. Be careful to completely cover the wound and let it penetrate into the wound. Then use tape and gauze to tie it. When bundling, be careful not to be too tight or loose, and keep the wound breathable. During the period, you should pay attention to the healing status of the wound and immediately remove and replace the new gauze. In addition, be sure to put an Elizabethan ring on the dog to avoid licking or chewing on the wound.
3. Moderately supplement vitamins
During the healing period of dog wounds, pet owners should pay attention to taking care of them. In addition to feeding good dog food, they also fill in some of the ingredients that are rich in protein, such as fish, chicken breast, etc., or immediately feed some nutritional paste containing iron, such as Mengwei Nutritional Paste. In addition, be careful to maintain dryness and cleanness in the wounds to prevent the wound from encountering water, or let the dog perform excessive and intense fitness exercises.
