Overseas News Called on December 26 According to Japan’s TBS TV station’s report on the 26th, as part of the “work style reform”, Nestlé Japan allows employees to bring pets to work. This not only facilitates cute pet lovers, but also achieves unexpected results.

Nestlé Japan’s pet food unit allows employees to bring pets to work. After the policy was implemented five years ago, cute pets often visited their offices.

Lihong, an employee of this unit, often brings his American Cocker Spaniel Puyat to work. Not only does his "private bathroom" exist in the office, but there are also guardrails at the door to prevent him from running away from other units. When the owner is at work, it plays in the office and can enter and leave important meetings at will.

The internal note expressed that many friends in the company love pets, but they were still a little anxious when they took Puyat to work for the first time. Fortunately, the puppy is very smart. Other employees said that the puppy walking around in the office not only makes it less distracting, but also feels that work efficiency has gradually improved. The internal reporter also expressed that many friends like to play with Puyat.

Since there are other tenants in the building, Neiji takes Puyat in a special elevator when going to work and holds him in his arms in public areas. So far, no reports have been received.

Otani Kensuke, the person in charge of the pet food department, said that their job is to serve pets. Everyone also loves pets, so they hope to solve the problems of cute pet people.

He also said that the presence of pets in the office has achieved unexpected results. Everyone is very gentle with pets, and communication between each other has increased. Moreover, with the presence of pets, employees have also become much gentler to each other.
