Former England coach Allardyce accepted an interview with the media, and he believes that Manchester United should have signed Crystal Palace striker Mattha this summer.

Alledes said: "Do you know (if I were a senior Manchester United executive) which player would I sign? I would sign Matteta, which is certain. He is very outstanding. Now the tall and large forwards have become mainstream again. I don't understand why they didn't sign Matteta."
