The 23-year-old left-back was separated from his teammates at the national team base in Coverciano in Florence this week and trained according to a separate training plan. He is expected to miss Italy's World Cup qualifying match against Moldova due to a hip problem.

Calafioli has played in 11 Premier League games for Arsenal so far this season. In Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Sunderland last weekend, he played the full 90 minutes. However, Calafiore's involvement may be limited during national team games.
