Dimazio reported that Leoni's transfer to Liverpool has been finalized.

reported that Liverpool and Parma have completed documents exchange for Giovanni Leoni's transfer. The Italian defender will join the Reds for a total price of 35 million euros (31 million fixed + 4 million floating), and the Parma club also retains a 10% share of the player's future transfers.

Leoni will leave the country and fly to Liverpool this morning, and will officially sign the contract after completing the physical examination. The deal became the fourth highest transfer income in Parma's history, second only to the transfer deals of Buffon, Crespo and Toulam.
