Guardiola: Rodri won t start tomorrow, it will be great to play for 20 to 30 minutes
Before the second round of the Group G of the Club World Cup group stage against Ain, Manchester City coach Guardiola was asked whether Rodri would start in this game. Guardiola said Rodri will not start the fight first.
Guardiola said: "No. His situation is getting better, but we cannot forget that it takes 10 to 12 months to recover from his injury, which is a long-term injury, and now, nearly nine months have passed since that sad day."
"He is getting better and better, and it would be great if he can play 20 to 30 minutes. I know he wants to play, but we need to protect him."
