Heskey Jr.: Foden and Sterling are my idols, and the left wing is where I feel most comfortable

17-year-old Manchester City winger Regan Heskey regards Foden and Sterling as football idols. Regan Heskey is currently performing well in the U17 World Cup, contributing 3 goals and 3 assists in the group stage.
Regan Heskey said: "Foden is a great player, Sterling is also one of my role models in football."
"My style is different from theirs. I am taller, they are shorter than me, and more flexible. I like to play on the left. When I was younger, I played three positions in the frontcourt. But only on the left It is the position I feel most comfortable in. All my skills can be improved, even my ability to cut inside with my right foot, although I am already pretty good at cutting inside with my right foot."
Regan Heskey will strive to help England U17 continue to move towards the championship goal. He is enjoying this first experience of participating in a major event and has already set his sights on the trophy.
Regan Heskey said: "Yeah, it does feel like a second home here. It's all the people you know at the club and grew up with them, which makes it easier for us to integrate into the team."
"It's good to play against different teams and countries that we haven't played against before. It's also good to see different countries with your own eyes and understand how they play."
4} "I watched a few U21 games in the summer. Seeing them perform and seeing them win the European Youth Championship was a good motivation for us."
"We want to win the championship, but we want to take it game by game and see how far we can go. We have a good team and good players. Hopefully some of us can advance to the senior team."
