According to the Post, Salah won the PFA Player of the Year and won the award for three consecutive years.

In the 2024-25 season, Salah won the Golden Boot Award for the fourth time and won the PFA Player of the Year for the fourth time with his performance of helping Liverpool win the championship and scoring 29 goals. Salah's 18 assists last season were second only to De Bruyne and Henry, ranking third in Premier League history. The Egyptian star became the first player in history to win the award three times and was selected for the Premier League's Team of the Year with his teammates Van Dijk, Heraffenberg and McAllister. Salah took the trophy from Liverpool legendary scorer Ian Rush. At the age of 33, he defeated McAllister, B Fee, Isaac, Palmer and Rice in the selection.

"It's an incredible feeling. Thanks to everyone who voted for me. It's incredible to do it at 33," said Salah. "I didn't succeed at Chelsea ten years ago. When you fail in one place, it always haunts you. I look at myself, a guy from Egypt, able to reach the top level and make history."

In addition, Aston Villa's Morgan Rodgers won the Young Player of the Year award, defeating Drapp, Dean Wyson, Milos Kolkz, Skelly and Ethan Envanery.

Arsenal's Mariona Caldentei was named Women's Player of the Year, while her new teammate Olivia Smith won the Women's Young Player of the Year Award.

Manchester City's James Trafford was named the Championship Player of the Year for his promotion with Burnley last season. Richard Cone won the League One Player of the Year for his outstanding performance with the Wicoconby Rangers, while Bromley's Michael Chick won the League Two Player of the Year.

At this award ceremony, many star players and their partners showed their style. Former England coach Gareth Southgate made his debut in a classic black suit and won the 2025 PFA Medal. Arsenal's Gabriel, William Saliba and Declan Rice also attended in simple costumes, one of the nominees for the night's important awards. Salah wore a simple black suit with a golden tie, which might indicate that he would return to Merseyside with the grand prize.

Caldentey performed well in her debut season in England, helping the team win the Women's Champions League, eventually defeating Arsenal teammate Alessia Russo to win the Women's Player of the Year Award.

Before the event, all Arsenal men's and women's football players took a group photo to show a unity. Other nominees for women's football player of the year include Mary Fowler and Uniqt Hasegawa of Manchester City, Erin Kuthbert of Chelsea and Fallon Toulis Joyce of Manchester United. In addition to these shining awards, the ceremony also recognized outstanding performances from the League One, young players and even some coaches.
