The Athletic Weekly Analyses the changes in Liverpool's transfers over the past few weeks.

With Werz coming to Liverpool this week to complete a physical examination, the Leverkusen star will officially join the Reds. Werz's transfer fee is 136.3 million euros (£116 million), of which 117.5 million euros are the down payment and 18.8 million euros are the additional terms and conditions. The 22-year-old will sign a five-year contract and is still on vacation and is expected to fly to the UK on Thursday local time.

There are still news in recent days that Leverkusen is interested in Liverpool's young centre-back Konsa, but any potential transfer will not be tied to the trade of Wilz. Liverpool would be willing to sell Kanssa if the price is right, but they did not seek to sell him. Liverpool valued the team's youth training defender by more than £40 million, and there are currently potential suitors, among which Leverkusen has the strongest interest.

Last season, Liverpool mainly used Kwansa as a substitute for Van Dijk and Connate, but the club recognized him as having great potential, which is why they would not let the England U21 international go at a low price. However, Kanssa does hope to get more playing time next season.

After finalizing Wilz's transfer and continuing to push for the introduction of Kolkedz from Bournemouth, most of Liverpool's major signings are about to be completed. Liverpool believes that these two new players and Flynn Penn who have joined will inject creativity and strength into the team and drive the team to improve. Head coach Slott is satisfied with the current progress of the new player, but there may still be room for adjustment, including the center position. And if Kanssa leaves, Liverpool may reconsider the list of centre-back signings that they have been evaluating last season, when they considered multiple candidates.

Liverpool will sell some first-team players this summer, and Atletico Madrid, which is seeking to strengthen its left-back position, is weighing whether to introduce Robertson. Before this, Zimikas was the one who was most likely to leave the team at the left-back position, although his contract expired two years. Atletico Madrid's interest in Robertson has put the Scottish captain in a difficult choice, and Liverpool also needs to adjust their plans accordingly. Robertson's playing time is expected to decrease next season. It is not yet known whether he chooses to fulfill his contract's last year or consider leaving the team. Atletico Madrid has listed Robertson, 31, as the top target, but is also considering other options, including Digne of Aston Villa.

As reported last week, Ajax is leading the competition for Liverpool substitute goalkeeper Jaros on loan. Liverpool will also hear offers for strikers Nunes and Chiesa Jr.
