Semco Industry receives its first all-weather power project in India

This is a build-own-operate (BOT) project. It is part of the 24/2019-2019 renewable energy project of the 1.2 GW (GW) intercontinental transmission system, a bid for all-weather electricity.
This project is not expected to have a significant impact on Sembilan's earnings per share and net tangible asset value per share for the fiscal year ended December 2025. As of about 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Semco Industrial's stock price rose 0.30% to 6.77 yuan.
Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of renewable energy, has obtained a 50-megawatt (MW) all-weather-owned power project from Solar Energy Corporation of India.
To meet the capacity requirements of the project contract, Sembilan will integrate approximately 300 megawatts of installed capacity, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage solutions (BESS).
The statement pointed out that this first all-weather power project received in India will enhance Semblance's renewable energy business in India and increase renewable energy capacity to 6.5 GW. Currently, the group's global renewable energy portfolio has reached 18 GW, including the acquisition to be completed.Sembcorp Industries successfully obtained its first all-weather power project in India.
In addition, Sembilan must implement a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Indian Solar Energy Corporation. After completion, renewable energy will be provided to the latter through battery energy storage solutions. The project will raise funds through internal fundraising and bond issuance financing.
