In terms of stock indexes, the electronics index hit 1,630.69 points during the session and closed at 1,619.64 points, both hitting record highs; the semiconductor index hit 848.69 points during the session and closing at 841.10 points, also hitting record highs.
TSMC’s American Depository Receipts (ADRs) soared 3.57% and hit another new closing high. TSMC climbed to NT$1,455 in the Taiwan stock spot market today, setting a new sky-high price. The market value reached NT$37.73 trillion, continuing to hit new highs, with a maximum increase of NT$40, contributing 321 points to the broader market index.
At the end, TSMC closed at 1,440 yuan, up 1.77%, with a market value of 37.34 trillion yuan. TSMC's intraday and closing stock prices hit sky-high prices, and its market value continued to hit new intraday and closing highs for a single listed company.
