If the skin is stuck, don't be shocked. You can remove the glue in three seconds in three steps!

When something is damaged, I often use three-second glue to connect it, which is really a good helper for repairing items. But sometimes, if I accidentally get my hands stuck by three-second glue, I can't pull it off no matter how hard I pull it off. What should I do? According to the Clifflan Medical Center, dermatologist Dr. John Anthony teaches you how to safely remove three-second gel from your skin.

1. Soak soapy water: Use soap and warm water to clean the sticky areas. Dr. Anthony said that if you rub with soap before the glue water has not yet hardened, it will help soften the glue water and destroy adhesion. But if the glue still cannot be removed after the soap is cleaned, please see the next step.

2. Oil separation: Three-second gel mainly contains cyanoacrylate, so its strong viscosity is not easy to separate. Dr. Anthony said, "Try mineral oil, vaseline, vegetable oil, hand sanitizer, etc.", wipe the oil on the sticky skin area, and try to pull it lightly to see if there is any improvement. Do not pull it hard. If the effect is not seen after applying grease, please see the next step.

3. Use degreasing water: You can use nail polish remover containing acetone. The main ingredient is acetone. Dr. Anthony said, "Acetone can effectively remove the three-second glue on the skin, but the problem is that it will dry, inflame and crack the skin." He reminded that you should avoid using it as much as possible and do not use it with other chemical drugs. If you use dehumidification water, remember to wash it with soap and apply moisturizer without fragrance to protect the skin.

Remove sticky glue and keep patience is the key

If the glue that is trapped on the skin cannot completely remove and clean, please wait patiently for a few days, so that the skin will fall naturally. Dr. Anthony said, never use sharp knives, scrapers, scrubs, etc. to tear them, as it is easy to remove damaged kidneys during the process. If unfortunately stick to the eyes, nose, and mouth, please ask the doctor for help. The glue is strong in three seconds and should be placed in a position that the child cannot touch to ensure safety.
